Surahs 1 - 27 part 9

My purpose in these following pages is to show that the Quran is repeating the message of the Hebrew Scriptures & also the original version of the Christian writings.

There are those who quote very strong verses from the Quran. What they neglect to say is that these same verses are in the Bible.

..the hypocrites avert their faces from thee in disgust. 4:61

How then, when they are seized by misfortune, because of the deeds which their hands have sent forth? Then they come to thee, swearing by Alaah: "We meant no more than goodwill and conciliation!" v62

Those men - Alaah knows what is in their hearts; so keep clear of them, but admonish them, and speak to them a word to reach their very souls. v63

..raise for us from Thee one who will help. v75

Those who believe fight in the cause of Alaah, and those who reject Faith fight in the cause of Evil: So fight ye against the friends of satan: feeble indeed is the cunning of Satan. v76

..thou are held responsible only for thyself - and rouse the Believers ... Alaah is the strongest in might and in punishment v84

Whoever mediates in a good cause will have the reward thereof, and whoever mediates in an evil cause will share its burden, and Alaah oversees all things 4:85
